A publisher of daily email newsletters

Daily newsletters, carefully made.

LetterHouseMedia is a publisher of daily email newsletters. Each of our publications will cover one subject for one kind of reader, will arrive at the same time every morning, and will be readable in a few minutes.

Why email

A newsletter is one of the few places on the internet that a reader chooses on purpose. Nobody is ranking it against a feed, and nobody else decides when it shows up. That puts the burden on us: if an issue isn't worth opening, the reader can unsubscribe with one click, and they should.

So we build every publication around a short list of promises:

  • One subject, done properly. Facts, recipes, repairs, history. Each newsletter knows what it is for.
  • Sources you can follow. Factual claims are tied to the source they came from, and the source is named.
  • Labels that mean something. News, analysis, opinion and sponsored content look different from each other, the same way across every publication we run.
  • Corrections in the open. When we get something wrong, we say so in the next issue and on the web.
  • Your inbox, your call. Sign-ups on our sites use double opt-in, we never add you to another of our newsletters without your click, and every issue has a working unsubscribe link.

How an issue gets made

Our newsroom is AI-assisted and gated. Drafts are written with AI models, then every factual claim is pulled out and checked against its source by two independent fact-checking models from two different AI providers. Automated checks catch mismatched quotes, numbers and dates and broken links before any model gets involved. Anything the checkers disagree on is rewritten, cut, or sent to a person. Editors approve issues at set checkpoints, and nothing sends while a check is missing or failing.

The portfolio

We are launching with Facts Brief, our flagship: one well-sourced daily briefing for curious people. Unbiased Brief follows for political news: strictly factual, no narrative, and on contested stories the strongest case each side makes, attributed and sourced. More publications are in development across recipes, home and DIY, good news, pets, trivia, technology, history and travel.
